Our Gymnastics Programs
Gwinnett Gymnastics Center in Lilburn, GA is the children’s activity center that makes parents and kids say “WOW”! Programs include: preschool gymnastics classes, school age gymnastics classes, tumbling, and holiday & summer day camps. Our other activities include our Friday and Saturday Parent's Night Out and Birthday Parties!
Our colorful, clean, and well- equipped gym is unique in that each program has a separate facility geared to the needs of the age and skill level of your child. Our energetic, professionally trained staff waits to give a “WOW” gymnastics experience in our facilities:

The Gwinnett Gymnastics Center team program is proud of its more than 70 state champions, over 50 NCAA scholarship athletes and 7 USA Level 10 Junior Olympic National Champions!
Dan and Joyce Thaxton established Gwinnett Gymnastics Center in 1977. Their vast experience in the sport of gymnastics, and especially their love for children, has developed GGC into one of the top programs in the United States. Dan and Joyce, along with the GGC WOW Staff, are proud to offer a program that develops personal character, self-esteem, and physical fitness. It will definitely make you say, “WOW!”
MEET THE TEAM!
Dan Thaxton
Dan Thaxton is the owner of Gwinnett Gymnastics Center. Dan earned a degree in Physical Education from the University of Georgia, where he was a four-year gymnast and a 4 year member of the UGA Cheerleading squad. Dan is well known throughout the nation for producing quality gymnasts and being a positive role model. GGC has won more than 70 team state championships since opening in 1977 under Dan’s leadership. Throughout the years, Dan has coached State, Regional, and National Champions. More than 50 gymnasts have earned Scholarships to compete on NCAA Teams . He was inducted into the Region 8 Hall of Fame in 2009. As a Christian, Dan lives his faith out every day with kindness and love and this is shown by the number of young lives he has touched.
Joyce Thaxton is owner of Gwinnett Gymnastics Center. Joyce was a Level 10 Judge for over 10 Years and Coached along side of her husband Dan Thaxton during the 40+ years at GGC.
